TODDLER'S HOUSE
Our beautifully designed toddler environment allows movement, encourages independence and reinforces language development.
The LCM Toddler House is rooted in the Montessori philosophy and aims to help children grow in independence, self-discipline, social and emotional awareness, and physical development of the body.
This program is for children 18 months old to 3 years old with the goal that each and every child feels safe, happy and loved every day.
CHILDREN'S HOUSE
The LMC Children's House program provides an authentic Montessori education in a balanced mixed age group that aims to help children gain independence, self-discipline, confidence, curiosity and problem solving competencies.
This is the beginning. This is where the groundwork for the intrinsic rewards of a Montessori education is laid.
Children work independently in long, unstructured work periods to develop concentration and independence.
Our goals is to provide children with activities that help them grow socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually.
BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL CARE
LCM offers a before and after care environment to enrolled children in both our Toddler Room and Children's House as a flexible option for families who need a longer day at school.
The areas of the before and after care classroom are arranged to give the child choices of activities throughout their stay. Our areas are designed to draw the children’s attention and provide a creative outlet for them. In addition to the options on the shelves, the children are invited to circle time, where special projects, presentations, songs, stories, movement activities, and expressive language opportunities are engaged in daily.
Special projects might include art, cooking, movement, music, and science. The children also enjoy outside time and have an opportunity to work/play with their friends in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere.
